Teuvo Teravainen may be available, should the Canucks be interested?

The rumours and reports will be fast and furious today, but one stick out to me
Teravainen was acquired by the Hurricanes this past summer from the Blackhawks in a deal where Carolina took on Bryan Bickell’s contract for a couple of draft picks.
The young Finnish winger has had a decent season in Raleigh with 11 goals and 18 assists in 58 games, but always leaves you wanting more. He has oodles of puck skills, on-ice vision and skating abilities but just doesn’t engage physically.
But there is no doubt that Teravainen is an interesting player.
From a Canucks standpoint, Teravainen makes sense from an age perspective but likely doesn’t fit into what they have going forward. With the acquisition of Nikolay Goldobin yesterday likely closes the book on someone like Teravainen, simply because of the parallels of lack of physicality in their game. Furthermore, the Hurricanes are likely looking for more than the Canucks can afford.
Although I am personally a fan of the winger, it likely doesn’t make sense for the Canucks given what has happened over the last couple of days.
Sometimes the deadline produces rumours that just are that rumours, and it may simply be a case of what is outlined in the tweet below:
