On today’s episode of Canucks Conversation, Chris Faber and David Quadrelli broke down all the latest surrounding the Vancouver Canucks.
One of the big topics the guys discussed was Canucks president of hockey operations Jim Rutherford’s letter to season ticket holders, which you can read in full here.
In the letter, Rutherford talks about the Canucks’ core, their big acquisitions, and how the team is the 5th youngest in the NHL. The guys discussed the players that were mentioned, along with some of the players that weren’t mentioned in the letter, such as Brock Boeser and Conor Garland.

The guys also talked about NCAA free agent defencemen Jake Livingstone and Sam Malinski choosing to sign elsewhere, and talked about why the Canucks might not have been able to land those players.
They also debuted a new segment that will run through the end of the season: Player Spotlight! Each episode, Faber and Quads will discuss a player’s season and their future with the Canucks. First up today was Sheldon Dries, who generated plenty of discussion in the YouTube live chat! Watch that clip below!
