Plays of the Week: October 1st-8th, 2017
By Vanessa Jang
6 years agoAlas, the 2017-18 regular season has begun! After a long, extended off-season with some eye-catching news here and there, the fun is just beginning. The Canucks kicked off their season with a 3-2 win over Connor McDavid’s Edmonton Oilers – a game that was arguably in favour of the latter team. The difference between a Willie Desjardins-coached team and that of Travis Green’s is black and white. The Canucks played with pace and the defense was more willing to contribute to the offense – something that was seldom seen during Desjardins’ tenure. There’s lots of content to go through from this week, so let’s dive in! Miss an article? I’ve got you covered with our Plays of the Week!
