Today at CanucksArmy we gave away our year end awards to a variety of Canucks for the 2013 regular season, previewed the first round series between the Canucks at Sharks at length (and we mean it when we say "at length"), and discussed whether or not Frank Corrado is the right call for Vancouver’s third-pairing.

The Canucks have been struggling to sell playoff tickets, but it appears they may have found a creative way to solve their issues today. Savvy stuff. [CTV]
It’s looking increasingly likely that Cory Schneider starts game one of the postseason. [White Towel]
Bure’s Triple Deke cuts another sweet highlight video featuring Vancouver’s top-five plays from the month of April. Love these posts. [Bure’s Triple Deke]
In a similar vein, Daniel’s sweet breakaway goal against the Blackhawks is the Canucks Play of the Week over at NM. [Nucksmisconduct]
Cosmo seems to think the Canucks are pretty damn hot (physically speaking), and the Sharks are not. For what it’s worth, I think the Sharks are sexy and they know it (Wingles, Wingles, Wingles, Wingles, Wingles – YEAH). [Pass it to Bulis]
J.J. Guerrero wonders if the Canucks might hit their "midseason stride" now that they’re about to play games 49 through at least 53 (but hopefully more). Interesting analysis. [Canucks Hockey Blog]
You up for some towel power with "main toweler" Harrison Mooney? You should be.
Keith Ballard, scratched for game one of the postseason because of course, credits Roberto Luongo’s leadership with helping him deal with the frustrations of being the league’s second most expensive eighth defenceman (behind only Mike Komisarek). [The Whitel Towel]
It’s the first Edmonton media troll piece rooting against the Canucks this postseason. This year Oilers fans are extra bitter because they didn’t win the draft lottery. [Pass it to Bulis]
The Canucks signed Alexandre Grenier, one of the team’s third round picks back during the 2011 NHL entry draft, and Brendan Gaunce’s season came to and end. Tyson Giurato is on it! [Canuck.com]
This is an ESPN Insider only piece but it’s well worth your time if you can access it. Craig Custance talks to a variety of rival goaltenders, players, coaches, managers and scouts who size up the Canucks. [ESPN]
The Canucks have called up a whole whack of black aces including: Jordan Schroeder, Nicklas Jensen, Darren Archibald, Andrew Gordon, Kellan Lain, Alexandre Mallet, Brendan Gaunce, Jim Vandermeer, Peter Andersson and Eddie Lack. Kuzma has more on that, Arniel’s presence, the possibility of a Vancouver AHL affiliate at Rogers Arena and news that the Young Stars Tournament will be a go this September. [White Towel]
Ryan Kesler on matching up with Logan Couture: "I’m not going to focus on their player, I’m going to make him focus on me." [Mercury News]
Finally the Wall Street Journal compared every playoff team to a hollywood actor and the Canucks drew Liam Neeson, which, fuck yeah! Great joke in the article: Tte Minnesota WIld drew Kevin Costner as an actor comparison because their season was almost like Waterworld. [Wall Street Journal]
