Another week, and another episode CanucksArmy’s Nation Network Radio powered by Shark Club Sports Bar & Grill from TSN 1040’s studios in Vancouver.
Don’t settle for nosebleeds! Always get a front row seat at Shark Club, your only destination for pre-game, post-game… every game! Located just minutes away from Rogers Arena at the corner of Georgia and Beatty, come eat, drink and talk a bit of trash. Learn more at www.sharkclub.com.
This week’s show is a throwback to the CanucksArmy Podcast of old, as our own Jeremy Davis is subbing in for TSN’s Jon Abbott. As usual, J.D. Burke is there to help co-host the show, too.
In the first hour of the show, Davis and Burke talk about the Canucks loss on Friday to the St. Louis Blues. It seems like Anders Nilsson might have played one of his last games as a Canuck, so they try to look at where things went wrong. Then they shift gears to discuss the Sedins’ futures with the Canucks, and whether it’s worth keeping them around or not.
In the second hour of the show, our hosts respond to listener questions, whether they’re on Twitter, by text or email. They even take a few callers. First up, they look into whether the Canucks should find a way to get their hands on current Florida Panthers prospect Adam Mascherin, who reportedly won’t sign with the team that drafted him. Afterwards, they get into the draft. By the end of the show, they have a few callers, too.
There’s a lot of talk about the draft, too. So if you’re a fan that’s interested in the future of this team, it’s worth listening just to get up to speed on what June might hold for the Canucks.
