Chicago Wolves Goaltender and Canucks Prospect Eddie Lack likes dessert.
Headshots are a Canucksarmy feature where we link to the days freshest news, and other assorted Canucks web-goodies. If you’ve written a blogpost and would like it to be featured in our Headshots posts please e-mail me at thom.drance@gmail.com.
Cam Charron debuts a "Noon Number" series over at Nucksmisconduct. Today’s number is 8, so go read Cam (yours truly makes a special guest appearance via BBM) fawn over the way Chris Tanev plays the game of hockey.
Jeff Ho of tenmillionforsundin.tumblr.com finishes off his video series that asks the question "Which Sedin will score more this season?" His conclusion: Daniel is likely to marginally outscore Henrik because of where Daniel lines up on the power-play (he sometimes shoots from the point, but is most often closer to the net than Henrik – so he benefits more from rebound goals).
Tony Gallagher set the world on fire with a take criticizing Alain Vigneault over his treatment of Cody Hodgson.

Because there were two Canucks games last night, the PassittoBulis guys wrote two I Watched This Games last night. Here’s Harrison’s on the game in Calgary, and here’s Daniel’s on the game in Vancouver. You can also read TinFoilTuque’s game review here.
I’m beginning to suspect that part of the reason the Canucks management team gave out so many PTO’s over the past six weeks is to lessen the amount of interviews actual roster players have to give. Legace, Nolan and co. seem to be sucking up all the Oxygen, which, has to help take some pressure off the rest of the team. Here’s Kuzma on Manny Legace. And here’s Willes on Owen Nolan
Speaking of old guys and PTOs – apparently the Canucks offered one to Mike Modano, who retired today, and were rebuffed.
