Headshots are a Canucks Army feature where we link to the day’s freshest news, and other assorted Canucks web-goodies. If you’ve written a blogpost, produced a tribute video, birthed a clever .gif into existence, or have a hockey related cause you’d like to see promoted in this space – please e-mail Thom at thom.drance@gmail.com.
You’re going to be shocked when you hear this, but apparently, Dan Hamhuis isn’t spending his time these days hanging out and indulging in junk food. As Ben "The Kooooz" Kuzma writes, he is working hard on his skating. And if @TheStanchion‘s image from above is any indication, he’s clearly not lacking any incentive.
Speaking of Wyatt, the NHL has cancelled all preseason games up to September 30th (for now), and he couldn’t care less . In fact, he’s kind of thrilled. He simply has no time for the charade that is the preseason.
Every time Elliotte Friedman comes out with a new post, I am reminded of how much I had missed him during the time since his last one. There are so many gems, and useful bits of information, that make his stuff invaluable to a fan. He surely didn’t disappoint today, as he tried to make sense of HRR (hockey-related revenue).
TWEET BREAK! Branching off of Friedge’s post, our pal Cam Charron managed to crunch the numbers in a way that only he can.

Corey Pronman (of Hockey Prospectus) came out with his Top 10 prospects in the Vancouver Canucks’ system. In case you were wondering, the Canucks come in at number 24 in the organizational ranking. I put together Pronman’s rankings, Hockey’s Future rankings, and ours into one neat little piece.
Darren Dreger reported that Ryan Kesler has been identified as an "offender". No, not of the sexual variety, but as one that will put him on the "divers list" if there is to be one. Harrison Mooney had a good take on it at Pass it to Bulis. Though as Thomas Drance writes, this system may not necessarily be the best way of taking these sorts of shenanigans out of the game. There’s already a reputation system in place!
Finally our buddy Jeff Angus worked his butt off to put together a "Top-50 NHL Trade Value" list. The best part of such lists is always the heated discussion they engender. Daniel Wagner, for example, had a lot to say about Henrik Sedin’s low-ranking.
