Raymond played his 300th game Saturday, Matthew Henderson made an infograph for the milestone.
Headshots are a Canucks Army feature where we link to the day’s freshest news, and other assorted Canucks web-goodies. If you’ve written a blogpost, produced a tribute video or birthed a clever .gif into existence – please e-mail Thom at thom.drance@gmail.com.
Mike Gillis is really not trading Schneider at the deadline… Unless he does, in which case, he got an offer he couldn’t refuse. But probably: he’s not trading Schneider.
Henrik Sedin diagnoses a rudimentary issue afflicting the team: they need to be better on the forecheck.
Cam Charron’s axe job on John Garrett’s shootout suggestions from yesterday is unreservedly great.
Video Break: Via The Mack Report, here’s a trailer for "Merrimack All-Access" a show that’ll be something like 24/7 except it will follow a Div 1 NCAA Hockey team, the Merrimack Warriors. Of course, Canucks prospect Joe Cannata is having a monster year in net for the Warriors, so even if he doesn’t feature prominently in this trailer, he’ll probably play a major role in the series. Canucks related or not, if you like slow-motion scenes of hockey games set to haunting pop music, you’ll like this trailer!
From Paul La Tour, Jordan Schroeder Stays Hot in Wolves Victory over the Houston Aeros. Schroeder now has 12 points (6+6=12) in his past 12 games.
Brad Ziemer writes that Ryan Kesler is back to his old self, right on time for a game against Nashville! Chicken-wings all around!
Finally, Pass it to Bulis breaks down a list of 10 active former Canucks who would be helpful to the current team. Aucoin and Weaver, yey! Bertuzzi and Cooke, booo!
