With Roberto Luongo getting the hook after 4 GA in yesterday’s shootout win over the Ducks, we have once again rekindled the Goalie Debate. Jason Botchford weighs in and gives you some insight from a few of Luongo’s teammates.

Cam Tucker from the Vancouver Sun discusses the curious case of David Booth, whose production has evaporated of late. He was even awarded a penalty shot early in yesterday’s win but couldn’t capitalize. Was Booth’s response to being benched enough to shake him from his scoresheet slumber?

Our friends at Pass It To Bulis let us know that the Canucks’ defensive depth chart is a hot mess right now. Yes, it sure is. And just two games before the playoffs start. Perfect.

Friend of the blog @GayCanuck wrote a piece on Monday about his indirect interactions with Cory Schneider during his After Hours segment. Cory prefers not to use the term Ginger. No big deal. But apparently, the mere thought of asking that question is incredibly offensive to some very, very real journalists.

A new post on the Canucks reddit page asks "New Canucks (and Hockey) Fan! What should I know?" This is good for a bunch of laughs, especially when the person who asks the question (a redditor named McLogan) summarized what he’s learned so far.

And finally, our pals at Smug Nation let us know all about Tim Thomas, and his propensity for falling. Let’s face it, after the clown show that he’s put on this year, I find great happiness in watching Thomas fall down like an idiot.
