Canucks Army Prospect Report – January 28th, 2014
Welcome back to another week where we review the progress of all of Vancouver’s prospects. It’s been a fairly busy week for the CHL prospects as they have been playing every other day while the better prospects continue to produce. In other leagues the injury bug is starting to hit as players are no starting to miss games.

- Cole Cassels played in 4 OHL games this week scoring 2 goal
and 3 assists. He also earned a +5 and 4
PIM. Cassels is ranked 16th
in OHL scoring despite having played 10 less games than most of his peers. - Jared McCann is on a tear, having played in 3 games and scoring
3 goals and 3 assists despite earning a -3 and 2 PIM. While we should celebrate his success keep in
mind McCann is now playing with top prospect Nick Ritchie and as a result has a
very high QoT. - No games played this week for Jordan Subban. He is currently 7th in the league
in defencemen scoring and leads the Belleville Bulls in scoring. - Evan McEneny skated in 2 games earning a -1 and 2 pim. He is currently in Kingston’s top pairing.
- Kyle Pettit skated in 2 games.
- Miles Liberati played in 3 games and earned a +1.

- Nikita Tryamkin played in 1 game in the KHL this past week
notching 1 shot on goal, 4 PIM and still saw his ice time decrease. - Gustav Forsling played in 2 games and notched 1 shot on
goal. His ice time also decreased. Talking to one of our SHL contacts, he noted that Forsling is very good in the offensive zone and on the power play. Forsling and Mikael Wikstrand are the best prospects in this regard, but Forsling is not as strong overall or mistake-free on the breakout.
