Unlike in past years, the Canucks will have just one scrimmage at this year’s camp, and it’s set to take place on Saturday at 10:30 AM-11:40 AM. It will be interesting to see who the Canucks send to Calgary for their first preseason matchup, which is set to take place on Sunday at 5 PM PT against the Flames.
The Canucks say they will release their entire training camp roster and groupings soon. As for ticketing information, here is what the Canucks said:
“Tickets to Canucks Training Camp in Victoria are available now to the public at selectyourtickets.com for only $5.00 per person per day, with in-and-out privileges allowed. 100% of proceeds from every ticket sold will go to the Moose Hide Campaign, which is a BC-born Indigenous-led grassroots movement in Victoria that seeks to engage men and boys in ending violence towards women and children.”
Training camp should be full of intriguing stories to follow, as Rick Tocchet has basically been talking about it since he was hired by the Canucks back in January.
We will have wall-to-wall coverage of training camp, including player features, live mailbags, daily recaps, and a whole lot more live from Victoria, so be sure to bookmark CanucksArmy and come back daily for more!
