All that and more!
All the images of stats are from Elite Prospects.

CANADIAN HOCKEY LEAGUE

Western Hockey League

  • Kole Lind continues his tear – picking up 2 goals and 7 assists in 3 games since last Thursday. That includes 2 goals and 2 assists last night. He is now on a 16 game point streak, has 32 points (12-20-32) during that timeframe. He has points in all but four games this season. (Portland, Portland, Tri City, and Regina). He is tied for 10th in league scoring, and 7th in points per game.
  • Jakub Stukel was limited to one goal in 2 games this past week for the Hitmen.

Ontario Hockey League

alt
  • Matt Brassard continues to put up points with two goals in two games since our last update. He has been playing well for Oshawa. Obviously, we don’t know for sure, but seems like a decent bet by the Canucks in the 7th round.
  • I reached out to Owen Sound and was advised that Jonah Gadjovich is back skating and considered day to day at this time. They did not disclose what his illness was.
  • Brett McKenzie is starting to get a little more comfortable with Owen Sound – picking up one goal and one assist in two games over the pas 7 days. Getting Gadjovich back will do a lot for the Attack lineup.
  • Cole Candella was held off the scoresheet for the week.

  • Michael DiPietro picked up his fourth shutout of the season this past week – with Windsor trading most of their veteran talent, they are relying heavily on Mikey. He has done well to hold down the fort.

USHS

  • Trying to keep up with Rathbone is a headache – he has 2 goals and 4 assists in four games. Their game on the 17th was cancelled, and then the game on the 19th lacks any sort of boxscore. Really looking forward to him going to Harvard to make my life easier (that’s what matters here!)

EUROPE

Sweden

alt
  • Elias Pettersson was held off the scoresheet in his only SHL game this past week – they play at 10am today
  • Rodrigo Abols is on loan to BIK Karlskoga in Allsvenskan.
  • Another week and no points for Gunnarsson.
alt
  • Rodrigo Abols continues to play well in the Allsvenskan with one assist in two games with BIK.

Finland

alt
  • Petrus Palmu picked up one primary assist in one game this past week – it was on another Canucks prospect’s goal.
  • Olli Juolevi  scored a nice goal in TPS’ only game this week:

Russia

alt
  • Nikita Tryamkin was held off the scoresheet in both games this past week – he was not named to the “Athletes of Russia” for the Olympics, but is a possible replacement player.
  • The yo-yoing for Dmitry Zhukenov continues, he appeared in two KHL games and was held without a point.

Czech Republic

alt
  • Lukas had himself a fantastic week – putting up four goals and three assists in three games this past week. Hopefully he can continue to build off it.

AHL

alt
  • Adam Comrie was released from his PTO and then signed to a SPC.
  • Mitch Gillam (G) was signed to a PTO yesterday as Demko was feeling under the weather – I would expect him to be released soon.
  • Anton Cederholm was assigned to the ECHL.
  • Michael Chaput was placed on waivers, cleared, and assisgned to the Utica Comets this past week.
  • The Comets are hosting the AHL All Star game this weekend – Thatcher Demko and Reid Boucher will represent the Comets.
  • If you are looking for in-depth post-game reports about each Comets game – go to Cory Hergott’s author page here.

ECHL

alt
  • MacKenze Stewart exploded offensively this week – putting up two goals and two assists in four games.
  • Anton Cederholm was reassigned to the Wings this week – he appeared in two games and was held off the scoresheet.
