Welcome back to Betway Bets of the Day brought to you by NHL betting odds site Betway!
A two point night for Elias Pettersson led the Canucks to a 2-1 win over the Anaheim Ducks on Sunday night. Vancouver has now won seven of their last eight games and are among the hottest teams in the NHL.
The Canucks now return home for a brief two games starting with a matchup with the conference leading Vegas Golden Knights. Here are three bets I like for tonight’s game.
Player Prop
Jack Eichel to register over 2.5 shots at -167. My $10 bet would return $16.
The bookies have recently moved the line on Eichel from 3.5 to 2.5, he has been inconsistent in the shot department recently but with the line shift I really like him here. Eichel had four shots in his last appearance to Rogers Arena.
Special Teams
Vancouver to score a power play goal at +100. My $10 bet would return $20.
Power play goals in back to back games for Elias Pettersson has cashed in a few bets for us recently. Vancouver is now back in the top ten league wide for power play efficiency and also went an incredible three for five in their last matchup with the Golden Knights.
Money-Line
Vegas to win money-line at -134. My $10 bet would return $17.50.
I’ve been proven wrong time and time again by the Tocchet Canucks, but I’m willing to make the same mistakes again. This game means a lot more to the Knights standings wise as they’re competing for the top spot in the conference, I like them here tonight despite the Canucks recent hot play.
Last Game Bets
Elias Pettersson to register over 3.5 shots at -118. My $10 bet would return $18.50. – HIT
Vancouver to score on the power play at -143. My $10 bet would return $17. – HIT
The game to end with over 6.5 goals at -125. My $10 bet would return $18. – MISSED
We staked $30 and returned $35.50, we are now up $46.97 on the year.
