Betway Bets of the Day: Bet on surging Canucks power play against the struggling Flyers

Arturs Silovs’ NHL debut was less than ideal, as he allowed five goals in a 6-4 loss to the New York Rangers. Vancouver is now tied for 28th in the NHL and if the season ended today, they would have the fifth-highest odds to land local franchise-altering prospect Connor Bedard.

Next up for the Canucks is the struggling Philadelphia Flyers who have lost three straight games. Here are three bets I like for tonight’s game.

Miller has started shooting more on the power play since the departure of Bo Horvat. Miller has tallied 14 shots in his last four games, an average of 3.5 per game.

Vancouver to score a power play goal at -118. My $10 bet would return $18.50.

Vancouver’s power play has been good recently and started to make a push to be back in the top 10 league wide, combined that with a below-average Flyers penalty kill and I like this bet.

Flyers to win money-line at +100. My $10 bet would return $20.

Both teams are currently on three game skids. I like the Flyers here because they’re good at picking up points on the road and have a massive edge in goaltending as Carter Hart has been excellent this season while Arturs Silovs is playing in his second career game.
