Betway Bets of the Day: Canucks look to turn the tide against the Seattle Kraken

I don’t know what’s worse: watching your favourite team lose by a goal, or missing your player prop bet by one shot. It’s a sad time in Canucks land, but tonight is the night both the Canucks and our bets get back on track.
Player Prop / Easy Money
Oliver Bjorkstrand to register over 2.5 shots at -150. My $10 bet would return $16.66.
The Seattle Kraken’s big acquisition of the summer leads the team in shots by a wide margin with 32 in 8 games which is an average of 4 per game. His over here looks like the easiest bet of the day.
Hunch of the Day
The game to finish with over 6.5 goals at -112. My $10 bet would return $19.00
The Canucks currently rank 29th in goals against and the Kraken currently rank 26th. These are two teams filled with ripe young offensive talent but are hardly known for their defensive play.
Risky Business
Canucks -1.5 on the puck line at +250. My $10 bet would return $35.00.
This bet means the Canucks to win by over 1.5 goals. The winless Canucks against the surging Kraken, on paper this doesn’t look like a great bet but as Freddie Roach famously said, styles make fights. The Kraken have yet to defeat the Canucks in their early franchise history.
The Canucks in all three wins against the Kraken last season won by over two goals, at these odds I like history to repeat itself.

In our inaugural edition we staked $30 and only walked away with $19.09, meaning we’re down $10.91 on the year. I will continue to track our wins and losses throughout the Canucks season.
