Betway Bets of the Day: Canucks continue death road trip against the Florida Panthers

Despite a late push, a marvellous buzzer-beater save by Andrei Vasilevevsky ensured a 5-4 win for the Tampa Bay Lightning over the Canucks. Vancouver has now lost three straight games and five out of their last six.

The Canucks will continue their five game road trip against the Florida Panthers, here are three bets I like for tonight’s game.

Our usual action here is taking the Pettersson over 2.5 but he’s been so good that they moved his line to 3.5 now. Horvat is tied for third in the league in goals and has hit his over in shots in four of his last five games.

Vancouver to score a power play goal at +100. My $10 bet would return $20.

Vancouver’s power play has gone a little cold, but still ranks top 10 league-wide. Florida has the 21st-ranked PK in the league and rank 30th in penalties taken, meaning the Canucks should have quite a few opportunities.

The game to end with over 6.5 goals at -134. My $10 bet would return $17.50.

The Canucks and Panthers are both at the bottom of the league in goals against and have plenty of amo upfront. I like the over tonight.
