1 month agoAfter being dominated in the first period, the Dallas Stars turned the game around. Mason Marchment’s tie-breaker in the third period was the difference in game three, as the Stars tied the Oilers 1-1 in their best-of-seven series.
The series scene will now shift to one of the world’s biggest wonders, the beautiful city of Edmonton, Alberta. After providing the winner in game one, Connor McDavid went pointless again in game two and tallied only one shot in 24 minutes of ice time. The Oilers will need more from their captain in game four.

The script for this is just too perfect. Edmonton’s coach Kris Knoblauch mentioned an inconsistency of officiating in his press conference after game two, and with the Oilers returning to home ice, I do expect a few chances with the man advantage. Look for the Oilers to get on the board here after struggling a bit with the extra man since halfway through their series with Vancouver.
