Edmonton opened the scoring in game two, and it looked like Stuart Skinner couldn’t be beat. That was until Niko Mikkola scored midway through the second period. With the game knotted at one goal a side going into the third period, which superstar would be the game two hero? One of Edmonton’s stars in Connor McDavid, Leon Drasiaitl or Zach Hyman? Or would it be one of Florida’s in Aleksander Barkov, Matthew Tkachuk or Sam Reinhart?
Well, it wasn’t any of them. It was undrafted Evan Rodrigues who scored two unanswered goals for the Panthers in the third period to take home a 4-1 win and a 2-0 series lead.
The series now shifts to Rogers Place, a hostile home ice crowd that Edmonton has been money with these playoffs.

The Florida Panthers’ Sergei Bobrovsky (36-17-4) vs. The Edmonton Oilers’ Stuart Skinner (36-15-2).
Leon Draisaitl to score anytime at +140. My $10 bet would return $24.
The former Hart and Art Ross winner, Draisaitl, has been extremely quiet this series, as he’s been. However, with a return home to Edmonton, I expect Draisaitl to come alive. Draisaitl has only scored one goal in his past seven games. I’ll go against the trend here and say he is due.

Florida to score a power-play goal at -125. My $10 bet would return $18.
The Oilers surrendered their first power-play goal against since Elias Lindholm gave the Canucks a 4-2 lead in game 3 of the second round in game two of the Stanley Cup Finals. Florida’s second unit got on the board with a goal from Evan Rodrigues.
With that, I expect the floodgates to open a bit; I like the Panthers to get a PP goal, most likely Reinhart in the bumper, but just take the straight.

Sam Reinhart over 2.5 at -150. My $12.50 bet would return $20.80.
Reinhart’s shot line has been at 3.5 nearly all of the playoffs, so we’re simply going to hammer him here at 2.5. I expect a very big game from Reinhart, who’s been quiet early in this series.
