Rejoice Vancouver hockey fans! The Canucks are back in action tonight after a four-day holiday break. Vancouver will look to put the finishing touches on a brilliant 8-1-2 month of December as they host the equally hot Philadelphia Flyers, who are 7-1-2 in their last 1o contests.
Here are three bets I like for the last Canucks game of 2023.
Player Props
The Flyers acquired Owen Tippet in a deal for long-time captain Claude Giroux, and he has exceeded expectations. Tippet has scored 39 goals in his last 100 games, which is a 32-goal pace over a full season. Tippet has been all over the ice for Philadelphia this season and has tallied 14 shots in his last three games, an average of 4.6 per game. The Flyers forward also registered four shots against the Canucks in their only matchup this season.
I like this trend to continue again tonight and will make this a full unit play.

Power-Play Goal and Empty Net Goal In The Match at +275. My $6.25 bet would return $23.43.
This is a fun one I have been looking at all season. Both Vancouver and Philly are rolling right now, so I expect a tightly contested game which will go down to the wire. Expect one of these teams to pull their goalie late.
Will take a stab here at .5 units. I like the odds here and like I said, this is a bet I have been monitoring for a bit.

Miller has remained productive, ranking third league-wide with 48 points in 35 games, but hasn’t found the back of the net in his last seven games. I like that to change tonight in a tough and gritty matchup against the Flyers and his former coach John Tortorella.
