For the first time in 13 years, the Vancouver Canucks will host a second-round playoff game, as the all-Canadian series between the Oilers and Canucks is set to get underway, finally.
Despite finishing ahead of Edmonton in the standings and winning all four matchups in the regular season, the Oilers are -260 favourites to win the series, which can mainly be attributed to the absence of Thacher Demko.
Today’s expected goaltender matchups for our highlighted game:
The Vancouver Canucks’ Arturs Silovs (3-0-1) vs. The Edmonton Oilers’ Stuart Skinner (36-15-2)

Leon Draisaitl to register over 2.5 shots at -160. My $12.50 bet would return $20.31.

This is a play I really love. Draisaitl was shooting for volume in round one, hitting his over 2.5 in four out five games against the LA Kings. In those four games, he registered 23 goals in five games, which is an average of 4.6 per game.

Elias Pettersson to register a point at -140. My $12.5o bet would return $21.42.

We took this last game, and it paid off for us. Pettersson has registered seven points in four games against the Oilers this season and torched them with the extra man.
Take this play at a full unit as well.

JT Miller to register over 2.5 shots at -118. My $12.50 bet would return $23.12.

Despite how low event last series was, Miller was able to hit his over in four of the last five games. Expect Miller to be the number one shooting option on the left-wall of the Canucks’ power-play once again.
