Betway Bets of the Day: Bet on Elias Pettersson to quiet the noise in Canucks vs. Penguins

On Saturday, the fans at Rogers Arena were treated to a classic between the two best teams in the NHL. With seven minutes left, it looked like Vancouver’s season-high losing streak would reach five games, but goals from Brock Boeser and Filip Hronek tied the game at 2 and sent it to overtime.
In the extra frame, a too-many-men penalty to Boston gave Vancouver a 4 on 3 power-play, and the Canucks made no mistake, as JT Miller sent a Sedin-like pass to Brock Boeser on the doorstep for a tap-in. Rogers Arena went into pandemonium, and Vancouver regained the top spot in the NHL.
Next up for the Canucks is a battle with Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins. Here are three bets I like for tonight’s game.

Player Prop

Elias Pettersson to score anytime at +162. My $10 bet would return $26.20.
This mini two game break for the Canucks has prompted a number of questions about Elias Pettersson’s commitment to the Canucks long-term, and the perfect way to remove the noise is by the Canucks star scoring.
Pettersson excelled in his first matchup against the Penguins this season, tallying two goals and two assists. I like him to get back on the scoreboard tonight. Take this play at .8 units.

Player Prop

Reilly Smith to register over 1.5 shots at -154. My $12.50 bet would return $20.62.
Smith will skate alongside Sidney Crosby as both Jake Guentzel and Bryan Rust are out for the Penguins with an injury. Smith has hit over 1.5 in seven of his last nine matchups against the Canucks dating back to his time  as a Golden Knight.
Take this play at a full unit.

Pre-Built Bets

Vancouver to win money-line and Elias Pettersson to score a point at +110. My $10 bet would return $21.
Vancouver should be able to string back-t0-back wins here at home against an injured Penguins team and I like Pettersson to continue dominating Pittsburgh. Pretty explanatory, we will take this play at .8 units.

Last Game Bets

David Pastrnak to register over 4.5 shots at -118. My $10 bet would return $18.50. – MISSED
Connor McDavid to score anytime at +115. My $10 bet would return $21.50. – MISSED
Brady Tkachuk to register over 3.5 shots at -150. My $12.50 bet would return $20.96. – MISSED
Just the type of luck you can’t make up. Tkachuk and Pasta ended one below their over and both scored. We are now only up $22.45 on the season, but trust me when I see we’re turning this around.
