Yes, I know Montreal made it to the final in 2021, but that was a weird bubble season that had two Eastern Conference teams play for the ultimate prize, so it doesn’t really count in my books.

Edmonton shocked the Stars in game five, taking a 3-0 lead early in the second period in their barn and never looked back. Stuart Skinner was exceptional down the stretch for the Oilers, making massive saves and never letting the Stars get back into the game.
