The Brock Boeser show continued on Sunday night in Edmonton, as the longest-tenured Canuck scored two goals and added an assist as the Canucks chased Stuart Skinner and defeated the Edmonton Oilers by a final score of 4-3 to take a 2-1 series lead.
Ahead of a crucial game four in Edmonton, both teams will make lineup changes. Vancouver will be without Carson Soucy, who was suspended for a game after his crosscheck on Connor McDavid, which brings Noah Juulsen back into the Canucks’ lineup.
The Oilers will start Calvin Pickard in net over Stuart Skinner, who allowed 12 goals in eight periods this series, and this will be Pickard’s first ever playoff start.
Today’s expected goaltender matchups for our highlighted game:
The Vancouver Canucks’ Arturs Silovs (3-0-1) vs. The Edmonton Oilers’ Calvin Packard (12-7-1).

Quinn Hughes to register an assist at -135. My $12.50 bet would return $21.75.

We have to ride with the wagon here again. Hughes has hit for us in back-to-back games and has dominated the Oilers all year long.
Take this play at a full unit.

Elias Pettersson to score a point at -140. My $10 bet would return $17.10

After scoring his first goal of the playoffs in game two, Pettersson was quiet in game three, failing to register a shot. But Petey was instrumental in Vancouver’s third goal, causing Warren Foegele to turn the puck over to Pius Suter.
With the Canucks power-play clicking, I like Pettersson to get a point tonight. Take this play at .8 units.

Vancouver to win money-line at +175. My $10 bet would return $27.50

As long as the books keep disrespecting our team, we might as well take advantage of them. Edmonton has lost six of seven against Vancouver this year, are starting a career AHL tweener goalie, and all of Draisaitl, Ekholm and Kane are banged up.
Yet they’re 2/1 favourites over the Canucks. Let them keep doubting. Take this play at .8 units also for a great payout.

Last Game Bets

Elias Pettersson to register over 1.5 shots at -200. My $12.50 bet would return $18.75.  – MISSED
Quinn Hughes to register an assist at -115. My $10 bet would return $18.60. – HIT
Vancouver to score a power-play goal at -110. My $10 bet would return $19.09. – MISSED
Frustrating day, could have been another sweep win but Petey let us down. We staked $32.50 and returned $37.69. We are now up $21.38 in the playoffs.
