Game 2 between the Oilers and Canucks was a seesaw affair that saw the Canucks take three separate leads and the Oilers respond to each one of them. Ultimately, the game needed overtime, where the game ended off a Canucks stick, but it was the Oilers who were crowned victorious.

As an Evan Bouchard pass deflected off Ian Cole’s stick help Edmonton tie the series 1-1 and delated the Rogers Arena faithful. The scene now shifts from Rogers Arena to Rogers Place for a Mothers Day game three clash between the Canucks and Oilers.

I have never seen Petey’s shot line this low ever, yes he’s struggling and the odds are super low but I will never pass up on a line like this. Pettersson has registered five shots in this series, which is an average of 2.5 per game and finally got the “monkey off his back” scoring his first goal of the playoffs in game 2.

Going to ride with this here again, Hughes has been an absolute monster against Edmonton this season, like we said in our last article he tallied seven assists in four regular season games against the club. Hughes has an assist on Elias Pettersson’s power-play goal in game two.
