Welcome back to Betway Bets of the Day brought to you by NHL betting odds site Betway!
The Canucks continued to roll, sweeping three straight games in the New York area against the Islanders, Devils, and Rangers for the first time in the history of the franchise. Vancouver also moved to 3-0 with the lotto line reunited.
Next up for the team is a battle with Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins. Here are three bets I like for tonight’s game.

Player Prop

Elias Petersson to register over 2.5 shots at -15o. My $12.50 bet would return $20,83
Pettersson has been red hot as of late, scoring five goals in his last three games, which can be attributed to the Canucks superstar increasing his shot output, Pettersson has hit his over 2.5 in eight of his last 11 games.
This is a trend I l like to continue, take this play at a full unit.

Player Prop

Brock Boeser to score anytime at +155. My $10 bet would return $25.55.
Dating back to his rookie season, Boeser has owned the Penguins, scoring eight goals in his nine career games against the team. We will ride with the data here and take Boeser to score at .8 units.

Main Markets

Vancouver to win money-line at +110. My $10 bet would return $21.
The 27-11-3 Canucks, who are second in the league, are underdogs against the 20-15-4 Penguins, who are 18th in the league. Yes, it’s a basic way to look at things, but sometimes, basic gets the job done. Take the Canucks on the money-line at .8 units.

Last Game Bets

Elias Pettersson to register two or more points at +155. My $10 bet would return $25.  – MISSED
Bo Horvat to score anytime at +175. My $10 bet would return $27.50. – MISSED
Brock Boeser to register over 2.5 shots at -143. My $12.50 bet would return $21.38. – MISSED
Sometimes you have those days where nothing goes your way, we lost a Boeser shot and Pettersson point which would have put us heavily in the green for the day, instead we end up heavily in the red. We are now up $167.50 on the year.
