The Canucks may not have a teenager scoring four goals in his first game, but they’ve got other stuff going for them. They’re out here throwing logs at the beach and hanging out with babies. Auston Matthews who?
- Emerson Etem was picked up by the Anaheim Ducks – the team that drafted him. He was a cool guy and had a great dog. Farewell to Etem and Rico.
- Emerson’s brand new son, Laulo, will now be seeing less of his uncle Bo Horvat. At least we got this one adorable photo.
- The Canucks’ new marketing campaign is all about outdoorsy, coastal vibes. In this video, the team throws logs and runs in sand. Real thrilling stuff.
- Erik Gudbranson is trying to win me over by talking up the Sedins and frankly, it’s working. In the same interview, Ben Hutton said that he hoped to double his career goal total this season, which would mean scoring at least two goals.
- Hutty and Guddy also sat down with CTV to talk about the upcoming season. Hutton thinks that there’s no chance that the Canucks come 30th and Gudbranson declares his partner “hood”. Like a young and bubbly Kevin Bieksa, Hutton already seems to be best friends with half of the team.
- Speaking of former Canuck Kevin Bieksa has not changed one bit. He dressed up as an ice cleaner during a Ducks preseason game and it’s pretty funny. Beep beep, Coyotes!
- And finally, here is a video of Jake Virtanen’s dog scratching itself. What a nice pup!
