It’s Friday and it’s time to get to talk draft lottery, Jonathan Dahlen, and Troy Stecher’s dog (again!). May the fifth be with you, and with the Canucks, who will be picking fifth, because that’s just how things go.
- The Canucks’ tank made sure that the worst-case scenario was a perfectly decent fifth overall, but the Canucks’ luck made sure that the worst-case scenario was the only thing that was ever in the cards. The boys at Real Good Show documented their reaction to the draft lottery and it’s a little too relatable.
- Little Jonathan Dahlen joined Joey Kenward to talk about hockey, his dad, Vancouver, and how he found out about the trade that made him a Canuck. Also, there’s some absolutely bizarre workout footage in this video.
- Dahlen got to meet one of his childhood idols this week, who took him to the playground with the kids. Adorable.
- The Canucks celebrated Star Wars Day with this short and silent video – Sven Baertschi has no idea what’s going on.
- It was Jeans Day this week, which means Henrik Sedin wore a Canadian Tuxedo and hung out with his athletic friends to support BC Children’s Hospital. What a look.
