- The locker room celebration after the Canucks spent 60 minutes (approximately) killing penalties in Tampa is fun because Edler and Henrik stroll in looking tired but content and then there is a dramatic pause before Chris Tanev appears, still in pain after blocking a Steven Stamkos shot at the end of the game. Also because of the apparently very profane exchange between the goaltenders.
- The only update the Canucks provided is this photo of his foot, which is kind of a gross this to post. But it’s paired with Bo wearing a bow, so we can’t really complain.
- The final Behind the Lens galleries of the year are up on Canucks.com and they are very fun. Look at Jacob Markstrom:
- Here’s a video from the Canucks visit to BC Children’s Hospital. Brandon Sutter and Henrik Sedin feature heavily – they are both very nice men:
- Bo Horvat and his girlfriend Holly got to play Santa for a local family, shopping for and delivering Christmas gifts. Read more about Bo and his teammates adventures with the the Canucks Family HOliday Sharing Program here.
- Horvat also posted a photo of his Christmas Eve with Luca Sbisa, Sven Baertschi, their ladies, and their dogs. These are three very good dogs. Sven’s husky is just having a blast.
- Jake Virtanen’s comments on Team Canada teammate Mitch Marner’s Instagram post are wonderful. Keep trying your best, Jake.

- Jake and Team Canada kick off the World Juniors against Brock Boeser and Team USA on Saturday. Virtanen scored twice against Sweden in Canada’s final pre-tournament game. Prompting this tweet from Brandon Prust:
