It’s been almost a full week without Canucks hockey, and hockey already seems more fun, right? As of this morning, the Canucks have as many wins as the rest of their Canadian counterparts, which is fun. While the rest of the nation tries to get their quest for the cup on track, the Canucks are holding press conferences, firing people, and probably playing with that online NHL lottery simulator.
  • The blooper reel from the Canucks’ Prospect Profiles is fun. Brett Mckenzie forgets who Gabriel Landeskog is, but does kind of look like him. Jakob Stukel would pick “the Canucks one” if he was picking his own personal goal song. Interesting.

  • Troy Stecher is a small guy, but on his birthday, the Canucks posted a photo of him when he was an even smaller guy. Adorable!
  • Wyatt pointed out that the Canucks toughest guys looked more like the dads of two tough kids at the postseason press conference:
  • And others pointed out that Alex Edler looked disinterested, which is a weird thing to point out when you consider that he’s spent the past decade or so establishing himself as someone who never looks interested in anything:
  • Alex Edler makes sure to pay attention to the things that really matter, like this dog.

  • Willie Desjardins seemed like a nice man but I think it was time for a change. I will always remember how he titled this bad clip of Jake Virtanen “jake… cmon” during that “We’re going to roast you before we tell you you’ve made the NHL” prank.
  • Finally, it’s that time of year again: nhllotterysimulator.com
  • Or, if you feel like it, turn the Canucks lottery into a charitable endeavor! Local funny guy and sad Canucks fan Stefan Heck wants to channel the draft lottery into helping animals. Why not?
