With Nikita Tryamkin’s three-year contract in the KHL set to expire at month’s end, talks have circulated about his potential return to North America.
This is what his agent had to say just days ago:
“I believe it will be an easy transition,” Tryamkin’s agent, Todd Diamond, told The Province. And having been there before, he kind of knows what to expect. He knows what’s going to be demanded of the coaching and training staff and he’s committed.
Now, Diamond says the only way he sees the 2014 third-round draft pick back is by playing with the Vancouver Canucks and not their AHL affiliate, the Utica Comets.
Tryamkin’s time in Vancouver was a struggle, but with the last  three years spent in the KHL, the 25-year-old may be able to step back in the Canucks lineup.
