Serdyuk plays a skilled and flashy offensive game. With his filthy mitts and great agility, he dances around defensemen in the offensive zone as he looks to create scoring chances. He possesses a great vision and passing abilities that allows him to open the play well and create many zone breakouts and entries. His precise wrist shot and quick release are quite impressive too. He is versatile offensively and can create scoring chances for his linemates, or lead the offense by himself. An intriguing player who has made the transition in high school from being a forward to a rushing defenseman. After a growth spurt, he has now good size, wheels and offensive instincts that helped him amass 20 goals and 81 points in his 50 game season in his sophomore year of high school. A terrific skater with great stop/starts, good edge work, with good vision and up-ice mobility. A power play quarterback who reads and creates in all phases of the attack. His lack of experience at his position seems a mute point as he shows solid understanding of defensive zone positioning and his responsibilities as a defender – Bill Placzek, Draft Site

Lacombe is a mobile defenseman with a clean stride that generates speed quickly. He’s able to hover around the blueline with his mobility and lead a rush well. Lacombe has a good skill level. He can evade checks and weave through defenders on rushes fine. He shows poise with the puck and rarely looks like he’s exerting a lot of effort with his skating or puck-moving. Defensively he’s got a bit of an edge and closes on guys well with his skating. While he makes some plays and plays the game hard, I question how well he thinks the game some shifts. At 5-foot-10, Tieksola is slightly undersized, but what makes things worse for him is that he’s very slim. He needs to add a lot of muscle to his frame before playing in the NHL. But he owns great offensive tools which give him high upside. He’s a great skater who combines high speed with amazing agility. He’s also very talented with the puck on his stick, and he can make plays at top speed. He has amazing vision and passing skills which allow him to make passes that seem impossible to most players. His shot isn’t great but that will likely improve once he gains some weight. He competes well but obviously his lack of strength creates issues in some puck-battles. He often shows flashes of brilliance, but occasionally he becomes invisible. At this point, Tieksola is pretty much only an offensive player as his defensive game is still a work in progress. I also think he needs more muscle and on top of that, he needs to become more straightforward and improve his toughness and sharpness. However Tieksola is a fluid skater showing good agility and he is quick in transitions. He is smart and reads the play extremely well especially with the puck. He has above average stickhandling skills, he is able to make effective dekes and his creativity and accuracy with the passes is excellent. Thanks to his skill level and hockey IQ, he is able to do well even in tight spaces. – Finn Prospects

Has become a nice sized winger with his growth spurt and has grown into a nice prospect that flows with the games tempo all 200 feet. Quickly gets to open ice and displays light edging and makes himself available for receptions. Can gain inside position and cut hard to the net. Blocks shots. Has room to put more weight on his frame and he can get quicker as he get comfortable with his taller / larger size. A finisher who was third on his team in scoring with 39 goals, 40 assists in 68 games. Handles the puck well at top gear and reads the ice well, usually anticipating a step ahead of the play. He’s a big kid and he improved a lot. He’s moving his feet more and is more physical on the forecheck. He’s really good with the puck and he has improved on making plays in motion and attacking the net. And he’s really good on the power play. – Huskies head coach Mario Pouliot
