On today&#8217;s episode of Canucks Conversation, Abbotsford Canucks head coach Jeremy Colliton joined Chris Faber and I for a 15-minute conversation.

Among other things, Colliton talked about the success of Arturs Silovs this season at both the AHL and NHL level, and the progression he&#8217;s seen from the young Latvian netminder.
&#8220;Yeah I think he&#8217;s had an excellent year of development,&#8221; said Colliton. &#8220;For me, just the feeling when he was in net at the start of the year &#8212; you know, we liked him, he&#8217;s a big prospect &#8212; but he&#8217;s become more stable in there and giving the confidence to the team when he&#8217;s in net, making the saves you gotta make. Every once in a while he steals one for you, and that&#8217;s huge. That&#8217;s what you want to see at our level, just that growth.
&#8220;He was basically the only guy here for a while&#8230; we really leaned on Arty, like, he played a ton of games when he in the past couple years hasn&#8217;t played that many. That was a big challenge for him, and I thought that was huge for his development.&#8221;
Silovs was red-hot prior to his call up to the NHL, and put together a 3-2 record with the Vancouver Canucks. For a sixth round pick who&#8217;s just 21 years old, Silovs is long ahead of his development path.
Colliton also talked about Danila Klimovich&#8217;s up and down development, the upcoming AHL playoffs, and more!
