8 Things That Are Nicer To Think About Than The Sbisa and Dorsett Extensions

Apr 9, 2015, 11:00 EDTUpdated: Invalid DateTime

This week, Babych Please has been re-christened in honour of Jim Benning’s work on Wednesday. Here are 8 things that are nicer to think about than Dorsett and Sbisa’s contract extensions:
1. The Los Angeles Kings!
The Kings could still make the playoffs so while we can, let’s enjoy this fun photo of the Western Conference and friends:

2. A handful of the Vancouver Canucks singing Katy Perry songs!
This is exactly what it sounds like and it’s probably worse than what you’re expecting:
3. Eddie Lack’s mother!
Mia Lack loves her son more than her son loves Chris Tanev. Here she is celebrating his shootout win over the LA Kings:

Mamma Mia also joined Canucks Nation on the Oilers bandwagon on Tuesday as they allowed Vancouver to clinch a playoff spot:

4. Alex Burrows hugging Eddie Lack!
The post-game hugs were elite on Monday night.

5. Kevin Bieksa’s tiny son!
Cole Bieksa suited up beside his father for the national anthems ahead of Monday’s game. No word on whether he’ll get $10.8 million for doing exactly what Luca Sbisa does on a nightly basis.

6. This photo of Sven Baertschi!
Should the Canucks draw the Flames in round 1, Baertschi may have a chance to prove himself to the club that traded him (I like to call this concept #Svengeance). Here he is preparing his smoulder for such an occasion. Gotta look good when you run into the ex.

7. Eddie Lack’s haircut!
Eddie Lack got a haircut and he’s really excited about it. Like really excited about it.

8. Alex from Newfoundland!
On Wednesday, the Canucks got to practice with young Alex thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. He scored, forced Team White to do some pushups, and got to take home some pretty cool hardware:
