Unfortunately, the 2021-22 season marks another season where Canucks fans will almost certainly be visiting NHL Draft Lottery simulator websites.
With the Canucks set to miss the playoffs for the sixth time in seven seasons, fans once again will turn their focus to the NHL Draft.
While that’s certainly good news for Chris Faber and the loyal readers of CanucksArmy’s draft coverage, it’s not ideal for fans who are itching for playoff hockey.
According to sportsmediawatch.com, the 2022 NHL Draft Lottery will take place on Monday, May 16th, at 4 PM Pacific.
Historically, the Draft Lottery hasn’t been friendly to the Canucks. Even in their darkest years, they have not once moved up in the draft, and with the new rules, will only be able to move up a maximum of ten spots this year.
Bust out those simulators, Canucks fans!
