With the March 21st trade deadline just three days away, the rumour mill is only going to heat up from this point forward.
Although the Vancouver Canucks’ recent run of success has certainly quieted the rumours surrounding most of their big-name players such as J.T. Miller and Brock Boeser, one name still being thrown around is Conor Garland.
During a Thursday hit on Canucks Central on Sportsnet 650, Irfaan Gaffar of The Fourth Period said that the Boston Bruins, Los Angeles Kings, and New York Rangers are all interested in Garland.
This should come as no surprise, as Garland’s name has come up in trade rumours as of late, with the New Jersey Devils reportedly being among the teams interested in Garland.
Garland has 14 goals and 18 assists through 57 games with the Canucks this season.
The Canucks traded for Garland, along with defenceman Oliver Ekman-Larsson in a blockbuster trade last offseason before signing the shifty forward to a five-year deal with a $4.95 million cap hit.
