The Canucks have a number of RFAs to issue QO’s to: @Tyler Motte, @Jake Virtanen, @Adam Gaudette, @Zack MacEwen, @Troy Stetcher, @Reid Boucher, @Francis Perron, @Justin Bailey, @Nikolay Goldobin, @Nikita Tryamkin, @Guillaume Brisebois, @Jalen Chatfield, @David Pope, @Jake Kielly, and @Marc Michaelis.
A few of these are for player retention in the cases of Goldobin and Tryamkin, while a number fall into organizational depth moves.
The Canucks, in many cases, need to issue QO’s at 100% of the players 2019-20 salary. Here’s what those look like: Motte at $975,000, Virtanen at $1.25-m, Gaudette at $916,666, MacEwen at $847,500, and Stetcher at $2.35-m.
Vancouver has numerous UFAs to sign, too, so some tough decisions will be coming in the next three weeks.
