As part of his contract with the Vancouver Canucks, Roberto Luongo reportedly had a clause allowing him to skip back-to-back games on the road.
Kevin Bieksa, Luongo’s former teammate in Vancouver for eight years, made the report Friday night.
Kevin Bieksa on HNIC: “Luongo had a clause in his contract where he didn’t have to play back-to-back games on the road if he didn’t want"

It’s an interesting clause, to say the least, but Luongo’s comment on it is great. He quote tweeted the above simply saying “Wut????”

Could there have actually been a clause allowing him to back out of games? Or did Bieksa have some sort of bad information, or bad memory about what had happened?
Luongo is a bit of a jokester and doesn’t shy away from taking jabs here and there.
At the very least, it’s an interesting conversation starter.
