With the results of the NHL Expansion Draft announced last night, heads are now turned towards the next two major offseason events: the NHL Entry Draft and July 1st Free-Agency. Looking even further ahead, the Canucks released their 2017-2018 schedule which contains a few firsts and many regulars.

Pre-Season
- Saturday, September 16th: VAN at LAK (first game of the pre-season)
- Sunday, September 17th: Vegas Golden Knights at VAN, 2:00 PM
- Thursday, September 21st: VAN vs. LAK at Mercedez-Benz Arena in Shanghai, China
- Saturday, September 23rd: VAN vs. LAK at Huaxi LIVE Wukesong’s Le Sports Center in Beijing, China

- Saturday, October 7th: Home opener vs. Edmonton
- Tuesday, October 10th: Alex Burrows’ return to Vancouver
- Saturday, November 4th: Sidney Crosby and the Stanley Cup Champions in Vancouver
- Thursday, November 16th: Luca Sbisa and the Vegas Golden Knights’ debut in Vancouver
- Saturday, December 2nd: Maple Leafs in town (if that matters to you)
- Friday, December 15th: Jannik Hansen’s return to Vancouver
