On today’s episdoe of Canucks Conversation, Chris Faber and I discussed a number of topics surrounding the Vancouver Canucks. This included but was not limited to the announcement of the new arena renovations, what we KNOW (not think) about Elias Pettersson’s contract negotiations and recent comments, and which prospect Canucks fans are most excited to watch next season.
It was that final question that was the topic of our Atlas Goods poll question. You can use the promo code CC15 to get 15% off your order at atlasgds.com, where you’ll find the world-class (at least in our opinion) high-protein but low-carb snack, Pop Rinds! These are the best fresh pork rinds and come straight out of your microwave or air fryer. Check them out here!
Now, our poll question!
Defence prospect Tom Willander took away the vote, and I brought up how it will be nice to be able to see Willander and fellow Canucks draft pick Aiden Celebrini play together at Boston University with projected 2024 first overall pick Macklin Celebrini suiting up for BU as well.
Jonathan Lekkerimäki came second in the vote, and in a similar fashion, Faber brought up how he’s glad he can scout Lekkerimäki and Elias Pettersson — the defence prospect — at the same time as both Canucks prospects are with Örebro of the SHL.
Faber also talked about the strides he’s seen from Lekkerimäki in the SHL preseason. Watch our conversation below!
