WATCH: Brock Boeser continues his hot streak with another slick goal.

Dec 11, 2015, 23:46 ESTUpdated:
2015 1st round pick Brock Boeser has been on a tear recently for University of North Dakota. As he is currently riding a 9 game point streak where he has 13 points (7G-6A-13PT). Some of his recent goals have been beauties, and tonight was no different on this partial breakaway:
Boeser is able to protect the puck from the diving defender, and then while falling get the shot off to beat the University of Minnesota-Duluth goaltender. The goal tonight follows Boeser putting up three goals in 2 games against University of Denver last weekend. All three of the goals are below in one gif:
The 18-year-old has been dominant in the last few weeks playing with Chicago first round pick Nick Schmaltz and senior Drake Cagguila. Boeser is now second in goals and third in points for North Dakota. What is really exciting is that he has been doing things as a freshman that haven’t been done since some notable names were there:
Boeser and North Dakota plays Minnesota-Duluth again tomorrow before Boeser heads to the USA World Junior training camp. It will be interesting to see where Boeser slides into the lineup there, but I expect that he will be challenging for a top 6 role.
It has been a fantastic start for the 23rd overall pick and hopefully he can continue to build on his early success. It’s starting to look like GM Jim Benning may have found a diamond in the later half of the first round pick.
