On today’s episode of Canucks Conversation, David Quadrelli and Chris Faber talked about the Vancouver Canucks’ 7-6 win over the Montreal Canadiens on Monday night, along with the bigger picture surrounding the team.
The guys also talked about Elias Pettersson becoming a leader on this team, and Faber shared some audio from his conversation with head coach Bruce Boudreau about Pettersson’s leadership.
“That’s how you become a leader,” Boudreau said. “Leadership isn’t necessarily talking. It’s doing stuff on the ice. Whether it’s blocking a shot at a big time, jumping in to help a guy, or just playing as hard as Petey’s been playing — that’s leadership.”
The audio from Boudreau starts at the 50-second mark of the 11-minute segment from today’s episode below!
