The Vancouver Canucks have signed forward Zack MacEwen to a two year deal with an average annual value of $825 thousand per year.
The 24-year-old Charlottetown, PEI native appeared in 17 games for the Canucks, where he potted five goals and one assist.
MacEwen had a strong showing during the Canucks’ second training camp in July, but didn’t register a point in the six playoff games he played in the Edmonton bubble.
MacEwen appears to be the first domino to fall in what should be an incredibly busy week for the Canucks.
