The Vancouver Canucks have placed defenceman Brad Hunt into COVID protocol. The club made the announcement Tuesday evening, less than an hour before their game against the Columbus Blue Jackets got underway.
After the team announced Tuesday that Luke Schenn and Juho Lammikko had been placed into COVID protocols, fears grew that the virus would spread, especially considering the timeline of when the positive tests took place.
At the time of this writing, 30 players around the league have been placed into COVID protocols.
The Canucks appear to have dodged a major bullet, at least for now.
Additionally, both Noah Juulsen and Oliver Ekman-Larsson took warmup and are in the lineup tonight against Columbus.
