Vancouver Canucks defenceman Tucker Poolman will have a hearing today for swinging his stick in a careless manner at the head of Kiefer Sherwood last night in Colorado.
Here’s the play, which resulted in Poolman being assessed a five-minute major and a game misconduct.

The Canucks are clearly preparing for the possibility of Poolman being suspended, as the club called up right-shot blueliner Madison Bowey from the Abbotsford Canucks this morning.
Bowey will meet the team in Vegas ahead of their game against the Golden Knights tomorrow night.
Poolman has seen his ice time dip in recent weeks, but there’s no question that losing him for any amount of time would be a big blow to the Canucks’ defence corps.
More to come.
