The Scottie Upshall experiment isn’t going to make it to phase two. Not in Vancouver. Upshall was a late scratch before tonight’s game, bowing out for Anton Rodin, and we now know why.
Hearing Scottie Upshall is on his way to St. Louis. Expected to sign a contract with the #Blues. #Canucks

According to Sportsnet’s Irfan Gaffar, the St. Louis Blues, who employed Upshall last season, are in the process of signing the veteran winger for what we can safely assume is going to be a one-year deal near the veteran minimum.
In two games with the Canucks this pre-season, Upshall stayed off the scoresheet, save for two trips to the penalty box for a total of four penalty minutes. For whatever it’s worth (not a lot) Upshall was a minus-two, and mostly a non-factor.
