Yesterday, NHL PR announced that the Vancouver Canucks would be out of action until April 8th, as Adam Gaudette, Travis Hamonic, and a staff member tested positive for COVID-19.
According to multiple sources, the first of which was Rick Dhaliwal, the Canucks now have six more positive cases, bringing their total number to eight.
Earlier on Halford & Brough, @DhaliwalSports reported that, while it has yet to be confirmed, there could be more Canucks going on the COVID list. 🔊 pic.twitter.com/Mhq67ugCsb

The NHL’s COVID protocols list will be updated later today, at which point we should know exactly which players tested positive for the virus.
Irfaan Gaffar added the following:
Further to what uncle @DhaliwalSports reported earlier on more positive Covid tests for the #canucks – I am hearing the same thing and the “interesting number,” is something the league and team are worried about.

This almost certainly means the Canucks are out of action beyond the originally planned date of April 8th, but nothing has been made official by the league at this time.
UPDATE: Alex Edler, Quinn Hughes, Braden Holtby, Zack MacEwen, and Antoine Roussel have all been added to the NHL’s COVID-19 protocol list.
