Early in the offseason, rumours began to swirl about Daniel and Henrik Sedin joining the Vancouver Canucks organization in a management capacity.
Today, <a href="https://twitter.com/DonnieandDhali/status/1407390745053458432">Rick Dhaliwal of Donnie and Dhali &#8211; The Team</a> reported that the announcement should be coming tomorrow.
&#8220;This has been long anticipated, it came out about two months ago,&#8221; said Dhaliwal. &#8220;Been told it looks good for the Canucks to announce the Sedin twins tomorrow. Two of the best franchise players in history are joining management, and we&#8217;ll get an idea of what their responsibilities are &#8212; what they&#8217;ll do &#8212; we&#8217;ll get more clarity on that tomorrow.
&#8220;I think they&#8217;re going to have a good role,&#8221; added Dhaliwal. &#8220;Abbotsford &#8212; they&#8217;ll have a role in the farm team.&#8221;
The Sedins retired at the conclusion of the 2017-18 season.
