The Vancouver Canucks have agreed to terms on a one-year deal worth $1.5 million with veteran netminder Jaroslav Halak, according to ESPN’s Kevin Weekes.
The 36-year-old Slovakian goaltender struggled last season with the Boston Bruins, but in the seasons prior to that, put up very respectable numbers.
The deal is not yet official. More to come.
