There was plenty of buzz surrounding all three players at various points over the course of the season, but following the buyout of Oliver Ekman-Larsson, the Canucks now have some cap flexibility to play with, and are feeling less pressure to attach assets to players just to shed salary.
The Canucks are expected to be active this offseason as they look to retool their blue line and find a third line centre. For now though, it looks like Myers will be part of the club&#8217;s defence corps for the final season of his five year contract worth $30 million.
