Fast Facts

> Gimme The Puck: Much is said about the Canucks faceoff prowess, but the Jackets are quietly 6th best in the NHL. Vermette is roughly as proficient from the dot as Kesler and Pahlsson’s FO% is darn close to Henrik Sedin’s. If the game is remains close, watch to see who each coach has out there.

> Old Faces in New Places: Quite a few familiar faces for each franchise tonight. Columbus helped resurrect the careers of both Manny Malhotra and Raffi Torres while Mike Gillis plucked Aarom Rome from their farm league two seasons ago. In return the Jackets have former first rounder R.J. Umberger in addition to coach Arniel, recently of the Moose. ~~Then of course there’s Kevin Bieksa~~ Opps, not juuust yet.

> For the record: The Canucks have yet to win a game in regulation when they are trailing after the first 20 minutes. Good Lord that’s depressing.
